    If you truly are fans of RD why on earth would you post a link to rapidshare. That will really help the DVD sales!

    if people are truly fans of red dwarf like i am and like you said they will download this until the dvd is out then when it is out they will buy it.. i know i am :)

    Quite a fan of Red Dwarf and I don't think downloading an ep would affect DVD sales a single bit, it's just mass paranoia really.

    I grew up watching shows like Red Dwarf, and the FIRST thing me and my brother did was record them to VHS.
    Paused the recording between ads so they won't be included, too.

    We weren't the only people who did this, and I'm sure alot of people would record these if they had the ability to. I'm pretty sure the thousands of people who recorded a show on VHS didn't affect the sales at all, so why should this?

    Consider that most people who would download TV Shows online are in countries where they;
    1.) Don't air on 'any' broadcast stations.
    2.) Don't even sell as DVDs.
    They wouldn't be making any money from them anyway (unless you expect everyone to import everything they're a fan of).

    Hoping for the latest episode's download link soon. Would've watched it on Dave earlier but I had a throbbing headache, and I know I would've set a DVD recorder for it if I had one (just a bit pricey, y'know?)

    thank you for the trip down memory lane as i also recorded them all on VHS without the ads hehe

    anyway you've made a good point and i can't wait for the DVD's as i'm getting 2 copies… 1 for my collection and one to watch just like i did for every other DVD they've ever released :)

    Yeah same.
    One which'll never be opened. I tend to do that quite a bit, got a CD signed by some indie band and I've never really taken it out of the case still.

    What fans would do, eh? :P (I just hope the cast of R-D would come to a Sci Fi Convention in the near future).
